My Story

First, let me start by letting you know who I am. My name is Diane Ceamoane Barfield Burks. I usually use my middle initial "C". However, I reference the "C" as in Cynthia, since my name is spelled different than the other spelling of Simone. Who would have known that one day I would call myself D'Ceamoane Creations.

Years ago, I started scrapbooking. After returning from a vacation or an event, I would gather my airline tickets, any attraction tickets, photos, etc. and just add everything to a photo album. Years later, I took a scrapbooking class and was taught how to add embellishments and stamps to make the album look more attractive. I find scrapbooking, card making, and other creations to be so relaxing.
In 2008, I was in a store and saw a lady with some 3D flower designed stickers. I asked her how was she going to use the stickers. She informed me that she makes cards with them. As a result, I purchased some 3D flower designed stickers and created a sympathy card. Since it turned out so beautiful, I went on to create other cards with more 3D flower designed stickers and other embellishments. In 2009, Michael's offered a scrapbooking class and I learned how use the Cricut die cutting machine. In 2010, I gifted myself a Cricut die cutting machine and started making more cards. About two years ago, I learned how to use stamps, which gives more embellishment to my creations. The rest is history.God has given me a gift of creativity, and I pray it is never lost. It is such a wonderful feeling to start with a simple piece of card stock paper or a plain photo album and the end result is so beautiful. The biggest joy and gratification is to see the expression on the person's face who I created the card or photo album for.
To God be the Glory.
